Celebrating Our Clinical Interns

John organized thoughtful and fun games that revisited some of the topics the staff and interns utilize in their work.

The stakes were high during the games as winners won awesome gifts!

Federico, one of our POV Clinical Supervisors, prepared beautiful speeches to express appreciation and admiration for our interns.

On September 23, Peace Over Violence’s Clinical Team came together to celebrate Maryam Dajou Abadi, John Matthews, Amber Celaya, and Claire Watts as they completed their clinical training with POV.

Throughout their time with us, these four interns brought dedication, compassion, and care to their work supporting survivors. Their contributions have been a meaningful part of our Clinical Team, and we are grateful for the time and commitment they shared with our community.

As they take their next steps, we celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to seeing the impact they continue to make. We’re also glad that some will remain connected to POV as volunteer associate therapists.
