Support When You Need It

Counseling & Emotional Support

Sometimes you just need someone to talk to.

Young people can connect with compassionate, trauma-informed professionals for individual counseling, crisis support, and healing-centered groups. Our team creates supportive spaces where you can talk through what you’re experiencing, build coping tools, and take steps toward healing at your own pace.\

Case Management & Advocacy

Need help figuring something out? You don’t have to navigate it alone.

Our case managers can help with challenges related to school, family, housing, basic needs, and other circumstances affecting your well-being. We can also connect you with helpful community resources and support you in developing a plan based on your individual needs and goals.

For survivors who need additional advocacy, Peace Over Violence can also provide support during court proceedings, police station visits, and other difficult moments.

Youth Development & Mentorship

Get support today while building toward what comes next.

Through mentorship and youth development opportunities, participants can receive support with:

  • Academic success and school engagement

  • College and career readiness

  • Goal setting

  • Leadership development

  • Public speaking and communication

  • Life skills and wellness

  • Youth advocacy

  • Internship opportunities

Our goal is to help young people recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop skills they can carry into school, work, relationships, and community life.

Violence Prevention & Safety

Healthy relationships and safer communities start with knowledge and skills.

Peace Over Violence offers violence prevention education that helps young people better understand healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, communication, conflict resolution, and personal safety.

Participants may also have opportunities to take part in Empowerment Self-Defense, leadership activities, and community-based prevention efforts that help them use their voices and create positive change.

Family Support

Young people don’t exist in isolation, and sometimes the whole family needs support.

Our team can work with parents, caregivers, and families to better understand their needs, connect with supportive resources, and navigate challenges together.

More Than Services

Beyond LA: Bridging the Gap is designed to be a place where young people can find both support and opportunity.

That might mean talking with a counselor, meeting with a mentor, getting help with school, learning how to navigate a difficult relationship, preparing for college or a career, participating in a healing circle, or stepping into a leadership role.

Every young person’s needs and goals are different. Our team will work with you to identify the support that makes sense for you.
