Congrats POV on turning 50! I started working with POV in 2008, as a Youth Education Coordinator and grew into the Manager of Youth Leadership & Development. My work at POV contributed to my commitment to support youth of color to have power, agency, and voice. I even became a mom while at POV (2009), and my baby boy just celebrated 13 years! My time with POV planted a seed that all children deserve to be free from violence and now I am the founder and Executive Director of Parenting for Liberation, an organization that supports Black folks raising liberated children. Cheers to the next generation of changemakers and leaders - liberated and free!
