Violence-Free Teens: Building Healthy Relationships Conference

FOCUS: POLICY, PROGRAMS, AND PROGRESS

Teen dating violence, sexual violence and sexual harassment awareness has ushered in a new era of policy development, programs for youth leadership, and progress in creating healthy teen relationships.

The 2nd Annual Violence-Free Teens: Building Healthy Relationship Conference will provide training on innovative methods currently being used to prevent dating and sexual violence among teens, introduce Peace Over Violence’s Be Strong Curriculum that empowers girls to develop healthy, non-violent relationships, and review dating and sexual violence policy development on a state and national level.

At this conference, attendees will receive in-depth information on state and national violence prevention campaigns and programs, network and collaborate with stakeholders in youth violence prevention, and develop strategies for working with new technologies and underserved groups.

The Violence-Free Teens Conference is ASL interpreted and handicap/wheelchair accessible.
