Holiday Gift Card Drive
Looking to support victims/survivors of sexual and domestic violence this holiday season? Here are a few ideas for gift drives to help the individuals and families we serve:
Children and youth violence prevention center (opening in January 2012)
- A Wii. Exercise, music and dance games for Wii.
- New art supplies: markers, crayons, coloring books, craft items, construction paper, glue sticks, children’s scissors, butcher paper, folders, 8×11 paper
- Children’s books
- Children’s costumes for dramatic play
Youth Violence Prevention Programs
- Flip cameras for violence prevention digital media projects
- Editing software for media projects: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite
- Studio monitor headphones, midi controller keyboard
Sexual Assault Hospital Response and Domestic Abuse Response Teams
- New women’s, men’s and children’s cotton underwear, t-shirts, socks and sweat suits (all sizes)
Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Programs
- Gift cards to grocery stores and pharmacies, such as: Ralph’s, VONS, CVS, Walgreen’s, Target, etc.
