Spanish Language Resources

Responding to the need for more Spanish language & culturally appropriate services, LACAAW partnered with Seal Press and author Barrie Levy to culturally adapt and co-author the book “Teens: In Love and In Danger” for Spanish language readers. Recognizing that limited written resources were available regarding interpersonal violence, LACAAW combined its commitment to teens and Spanish speaking communities in this effort. This groundbreaking joint venture between publisher and a social service agency culminated in the availability of Jovenes: Enamorados y En Peligro, the only Spanish language publication addressing teen dating violence to date. In addition, LACAAW partnered with KCET to publish a Spanish language parenting booklet, Criando a sus Hijos de La Mejor Manera.
