Ed Limato – Co-President
International Creative Management (ICM)

As the Co-President of International Creative Management (ICM), Ed Limato has played a pivotal role in the careers of some of Hollywood’s most successful stars. Richard Gere, Mel Gibson, Denzel Washington, Steve Martin, Billy Crystal and Claire Danes are just a few of the names that grace his client list. Limato, along with other company leaders, Jeff Berg and Chris Silbermann, have made ICM one of the largest talent and literary agencies in Hollywood, with offices in Los Angeles, New York and the United Kingdom.

Under Ed’s tutelage, the people that make up the ICM family have demonstrated their commitment to support LACAAW’s work to eliminate sexual and domestic violence. From Rick Levy, ICM’s Chief Operating Officer, who serves on our Advisory Board, to Calista Flockhart, an ICM client who serves as our National Spokesperson, to the financial support ICM has provided to fund vital programs and services, ICM has a goal to enrich students’ lives through the arts, which is complementary to the work we do within the LA school district. The entire corporate community that comprises ICM has been a welcome partner in LACAAW’s mission to support and assist the survivors of violence and abuse.

A successful company is only as good as its leader, and it is clear ICM’s leadership fosters a culture of social consciousness and activism within the agency. Peace Over Violence is honored to present Ed Limato with the 2006 Verizon Wireless Hopeline Corporate Humanitarian Award for his critical role in supporting our work to create healthy, safe communities.
