AB 70 (Maze) Will aid victims of rape and sexual battery by assisting them with their efforts to conceal their whereabouts from potential offenders by amending VC 4467 to include victims of rape and sexual battery to those eligible to immediately obtain new DMV issued license plates
AB 190 (Negrete-McLeod) Line 66, allows Californians to donate to the California Rape Prevention Fund through state income tax check-off program.
AB 632 (Chu) This bill would require the California Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB). The sex offender management board’s role would be to bring together experts throughout California to assess practices statewide, to conduct policy research, develop reports and make recommendations to the legislature and the Governor regarding needed changes to achieve a level of standardized best practices across the state that will most effectively ensure community safety and to monitor and report on such changes.
AB 1088 (Oropeza) Would require our colleges and universities, in collaboration with campus and community-based victim advocacy organizations to provide students prevention and education information regarding campus-based sexual violence during student orientation and to post this information on campus and website.
